Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store Associate to act as the primary customer contact, assist in maintaining plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and support store operations. You will help customers locate items, assist with checkouts, and ensure merchandise is clean and properly displayed.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and using handheld scanners or cash registers to complete purchases. A high school diploma is preferred, with safety and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Maintain store cleanliness including front end and restrooms.
