Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to be the primary point of contact for customers, support merchandising plans, and ensure floor stock is maintained. Responsibilities include unloading shipments, building displays, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and operating the cash register.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in stock room or on the sales floor.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Build and stock merchandise displays; rotate and face items.
• Restock recovered merchandise and maintain shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register; total purchases and bag items; collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners when needed.
• Clean store front, set up sidewalk displays, and keep restroom and stockroom tidy.
• Greet customers and comply with company policies and procedures.
