Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to be the primary point of contact for customers, stock, and merchandising. You will unload trucks, build displays, stock and rotate merchandise, and assist customers on the sales floor.

You will operate the cash register, handle payments, and help with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners. The role requires adherence to policies, safety practices, and a collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on the floor or in stock rooms.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; restock recovered items.
• Assist customers in locating products and helping at checkout.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store front clean and set up sidewalk displays as needed.
