Job summary

ZF in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a Retail Sales Manager to drive sales and revenue across assigned retail accounts. You will manage relationships with key stakeholders, provide product education, and analyze market trends to support growth. Strong presentation and communication skills, a Bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years in sales are required.

• 5+ years of Sales experience required.
• Intermediate to Expert in Microsoft suite.
• Effective presentation, communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
• Automotive Aftermarket experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales & Revenue: Meet or exceed quotas and product placement targets across assigned retail accounts.
• Relationship Management: Build rapport with key account stakeholders, department heads, and general managers to secure prime shelf space and promotional features.
• Product Education & Training: Conduct product knowledge sessions, training clinics, and demonstrations for the assigned accounts.
• Market & Competitor Analysis: Collect feedback on customer preferences, track competitor pricing/promotions, and report field insights to the regional management team.
• Perform GAP Analysis: Provide category analysis to support missing SKU’s and support customer growth.
• Internal Liaison: Build solid internal relationships to ensure our internal stakeholders are hearing the voice of the customer throughout the organization.
