Job summary

Buckle is offering a part-time Sales and Management Internship designed to give exposure to customer service, merchandising and basic store operations. Interns will work closely with the Store Manager to learn Buckle’s retail business and leadership expectations, while supporting daily sales and guest experience initiatives.

Interns participate in orientation and leadership development, with tasks spanning merchandising, cashiering, and routine store tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field.
• No prior experience or training required for the internship.

Responsibilities

• Complete Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting sections of the Buckle Management Manual.
• Provide weekly progress updates to the Area Manager and District Manager.
• Develop understanding of Buckle’s products, sales presentation and merchandising process.
• Manage a product category and set sales goals, educate teammates and track results.
• Lead and motivate the team by tracking performance with internal tools.
