Overview

The Lead impacts both brand standards and the teammate experience. Working under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department, focused on delivering excellent customer service and providing direction to teammates. Leading by example, demonstrating empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration, sets the Lead apart.

• Supports building and hiring a strong team through in-store interviews and department tours.
• Builds a people-first culture by connecting with teammates to foster mutual trust and respect.
• Plans and organizes 30-day strategies with the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce planning and daily execution.
• Leverages teammates strategically to meet brand standards, execute programs, and delegate tasks based on priority.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards following established guidelines.
• Assists with general supervision and training of teammates, including onboarding and cross-training.
• Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and teaching the 'why' behind tasks.
• Leads by example to align responsibilities with organizational goals and enhance the shopping experience.
• Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
• Adheres to policies related to safety, loss prevention, and confidentiality.
• Supports team efforts across the store and performs other tasks as assigned.
