Job summary

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is seeking a Retail Sales Leader at Express, Algonquin Commons, Algonquin, IL. You will drive store operations, coach associates, and ensure exceptional in-store shopping experiences for customers across floor and stockroom areas.

Responsibilities include training, scheduling, merchandise flow, and delivering strong sales results while maintaining policies and standards. This role requires strong communication and team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent.
• 1 year of experience preferred for retail leadership.
• Proficient with iPad and POS registers.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Must meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching to store associates for floor operations and customer service.
• Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
• Assist in training associates on store operations, product, policy and procedures.
• Execute action plans that optimize results.
• Execute all aspects of daily store operations.
• Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience.
• Oversee and authorize the checkout experience.
• Assist with merchandise flow, such as shipment and replenishment.
• Monitor and analyzes the customer service provided by team members.
• Build an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time.
• Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences.
• Resolve customer service issues to a positive outcome.
• Lead and model our customer experience model.
• Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, loyalty programs.
• Provide leadership with product launches, window changes, visual standards and signage.
