Job summary

Knitwell Group is seeking a Sales Lead at our Indianapolis store to partner with leadership, supervise the team, and uphold our hospitality-driven culture. You will guide staff, share brand priorities, and model exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, operations support, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset to drive sales and store performance.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations (open/close).
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and use an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with goals.
• Execute cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
