Job summary

Soma in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards while delivering welcoming, customer-centered experiences that reflect our hospitality.

You will open and close the store, coach staff, share brand priorities, manage operations, and contribute to a positive culture with strong product knowledge and omnichannel selling.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to bend, reach, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omnichannel selling.
• Provide coaching and scheduling support to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
