Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead for the Gainesville, VA store. You will partner with store leadership to supervise the team, model hospitality, and drive performance through coaching, product knowledge, and omnichannel selling.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and promoting promotions while building strong customer and peer relationships. Must be 18+, with retail management experience preferred; flexible availability including nights, weekends, and

Qualifications

2+ years of retail management experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
Team player with ownership and initiative.
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist store leadership with general store operations including opening/closing.
Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel selling.
Provide coaching and scheduling support; ensure performance goals.
Handle cash, scheduling, inventory, replenishment, and POS processes.
Promote current promotions and store policies; contribute to a positive work culture.
