Job summary

Vans is seeking a Sales Lead to support the store leadership team by ensuring top customer engagement and strong sales results. You will model the voice of our brand, coach associates, and help create an inclusive store culture that celebrates individuality.

The role focuses on coaching, store supervision in absence of a manager, and delivering outstanding service. This is a part-time retail position with incentive opportunities and potential commissions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related professional retail experience is preferred but not required.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; hands‑on experience and demonstrated achievements are valued most.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Assist in maximizing and achieving store sales and goals by monitoring sales progress & results against key targets.
• Foster a consumer centric mindset and an inclusive store environment, while modeling selling behaviors through genuine interactions with consumers.
• Assist in providing direct feedback, coaching and supervision of the associates.
• Occasionally assume responsibility for the store in the absence of another manager. This may include covering breaks, meal periods or opening the store without a supervisor or manager.
• Regularly interact with consumers within the store, providing a high level of customer service.
• Provide actionable feedback to store associates and adhere to policies, procedures and practices that align with company directives.
