Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead for our Rochester, MN Shops at University Square location. You will partner with store leaders to supervise the team, model our hospitality-driven culture, and guide daily operations to deliver memorable, customer-focused experiences.

In this role you’ll coach teammates, manage open/close duties, handle cash, and ensure product knowledge and brand standards are consistently upheld. A positive, proactive leader with strong communication will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
