Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead at our Minnetonka location. You will partner with store leaders to supervise the team, model excellent customer service, and uphold brand standards. You’ll guide daily operations, coach staff, and help create a welcoming, hospitality-driven shopping experience.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of retail management experience, strong communication, and a flexible schedule. This role supports a collaborative team focused on growth and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, operate the register, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership with general operations and opening/closing tasks.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead on the sales floor and coach the team to meet goals.
• Assist with scheduling and provide coaching feedback.
• Handle cash, inventory, replenishment, and merchandising tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and store policies.
• Contribute ideas to the store leadership team.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
