Overview

The Key Carrying Lead directly influences both brand standards and the teammate experience. Working under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department, focused on delivering excellent customer service and providing direction to teammates. Successful Leads lead by example, demonstrate empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

• Supports building and hiring a strong team through interviews and department tours.
• Fosters a people-first culture by building trust and respect with every teammate.
• Plans and organizes 30-day strategies with guidance, aligning workforce to execute daily tasks, projects, and store events.
• Leverages teammates strategically to meet brand standards and execute programs and processes.
• Assists with store supervision, including opening/closing, front-end and cash operations, and firearms sales compliance.
• Upholds merchandising standards, including floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory presentation.
• Supports teammate training, onboarding, and cross-training initiatives.
• Maintains loss prevention standards and controls.
• Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and teaching the 'why' behind tasks.
• Leads by example to align responsibilities with organizational goals and enhance the shopping experience.
• Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Adheres to safety, loss prevention policies, and confidentiality standards.
