Job summary

Chico’s Fort Wayne store is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to support store leadership in daily operations, coaching, and delivering a high-touch, customer-centric shopping experience. You will drive brand priorities on the sales floor, mentor teammates, and help manage inventory, scheduling, and cash handling to ensure store targets are met.

The role requires 18+ years old, retail leadership experience preferred, and availability nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and provide coaching to the team.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Support omni-channel sales approaches and customer experiences.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Foster a positive work environment and collaborative teamwork.
