Job summary

The J.Jill Group is seeking a passionate, customer-obsessed Sales Lead to support store leadership in driving sales and team performance. You will create meaningful connections with customers and deliver an exceptional shopping experience, maintaining J.Jill’s easy, inclusive culture in-store and within the community.

You will train and coach team members, identify customer needs, provide styling recommendations, and help achieve sales targets while maintaining product knowledge and store

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in women’s specialty retail.
• Passion for customer service and building meaningful relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and support community engagement.
• Train and develop team members with coaching and support.
• Drive store performance by identifying customer needs and providing styling recommendations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of J.Jill’s products to help customers make confident purchases.
• Assist with store operations, including opening/closing, visual merchandising, floor sets, and inventory.
• Address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset while supporting leadership.
• Communicate across organizational levels and adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
• Perform additional responsibilities to help the store succeed.
