Job summary

Knitwell Group in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards while delivering a welcoming, customer-centered experience.

You will drive store performance by coaching, managing operations (cash handling, scheduling, inventory, replenishment), and sharing product knowledge across omni-channel channels. Flexible availability including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability—including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, operate the register, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and share product knowledge.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team.
