Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead in Fort Wayne, IN to partner with store leadership and elevate the guest experience. You will supervise the team, model service excellence, and ensure brand standards across operations and omni-channel initiatives.

With 2 years of retail management experience preferred, you will coach teammates, manage schedules and inventory, and help drive sales while maintaining a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects Soma's culture of hospitality.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
