$14.70 - $18.47 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The Sr. OS guides the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eyewear needs are met simply, humanly, and boldly. A Senior Optical Specialist has at least 12 months of optical industry experience.

The SR. OS maintains license requirements per state guidelines and dispenses eyewear where licensed.

• Achieves daily sales goals by delivering excellent customer/patient experiences
• Engages with patients/customers, recommending products and services to meet their eye care needs
• Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product/optical knowledge through continuous training to ensure correct fit and function
• Supports operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals, including opening and closing the store in lead positions

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed
