Job summary

Goodwill Northern Michigan is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to help process textiles and wares, operate the cash register, and assist donors and customers. You will maintain clean displays, price items, and ensure a positive shopping environment.

You will interact with clients and staff professionally, handle donations securely, and follow safety policies. Retail experience is a plus, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission and vision of Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan.
• Perform cashier duties, including sales transactions, payments, refunds, end-of-day processing.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, stocking, straightening, and assisting customers and donors.
• Receive and process donations, unload, sort and tag items, and price textiles and wares.
• Ensure fitting rooms are tidy and merchandise is presented attractively for customers.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting with merchandise.
