Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and support store profitability and teamwork. You will unload trucks, build displays, assist customers, and operate the cash register, handling transactions and bagging purchases.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise and collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners; help set up front displays.
