Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a store associate to act as the frontline contact for customers, stock and maintain plan-o-grams, and keep the sales floor tidy. You will unload trucks, set up displays, assist shoppers, and operate the register to complete transactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on shelves or in the stock room.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; restock as needed.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners when needed.
• Perform store cleaning and maintain a neat, safe environment.
