Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, stock merchandise, and maintain plan-o-grams on the sales floor. You will assist shoppers, operate the cash register, and help with ordering using handheld scanners as needed.

The role requires basic math, safety awareness, and strong interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-site work in a retail store with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on shelves or back room.
• Build displays and rotate stock; restock recovered items as needed.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and operate cash register with accuracy.
• Greet customers, bag purchases, collect payment, and provide friendly service.
• Maintain store cleanliness and comply with company policies.
