Job summary

Daiso USA is looking for a Stores Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service, help customers choose products, and process transactions at the register. You will also assist with merchandising and storefront upkeep to deliver a welcoming shopping experience.

When scheduled for Lead Shift, you will support store leadership, assign tasks, and help open/close operations while maintaining a positive, customer-focused presence on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred.
• Prior retail sales experience, sales associate experience, or similar customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting opening/closing, task coordination, training, or shift support is a plus for Lead Shift assignments.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer questions about products, promotions, discounts, and offers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products or solutions.
• Upsell through product recommendations and promotions.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate when needed.
• Organize merchandise on shelves and restock as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and checkout area.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash register.
