Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a friendly Retail Sales Associate in San Antonio, TX to join our team. You will greet customers, assist with sales, loans, and product inquiries, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor while processing transactions.

You can earn $13.50–$15.95 per hour plus unlimited commission, plus benefits like earned wage access, employee discounts, and a schedule that typically runs 9AM–6PM in many locations. Training provided.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms and completing paperwork.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
