Job summary

Rifle Paper Co. seeks a part-time Retail Sales Associate for our new Tampa store opening Fall 2026. The role is temporary with an anticipated end date in late January 2027.

You will warmly welcome customers, share the brand story, and help guests find the perfect Rifle Paper Co. gifts and home accents with enthusiastic, personalized service. You will maintain brand standards, assist with inventory, and support both in-store and online shopping experiences while upholding exceptional customer

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in specialty retail, customer service, or a luxury boutique environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Design is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with team and customers.
• Detail oriented with a passion for design and Rifle Paper Co. aesthetic.
• Collaborative team player with ability to balance service and operational goals.
• Ability to drive sales through outstanding customer service.
• Operate with initiative, professionalism, and teamwork.

• Ensure the Rifle Paper Co. customer service is upheld, consistent, and executed to our brand standards at all times.
• Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and organization that meets company expectations
• Keep up to date with current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system, including handling returns, exchanges, and gift wrapping.
• Assist in maintaining the store's high visual standards by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring all products are presented according to brand guidelines.
• Support processing incoming shipments, inventory organization and inventory counts to ensure optimal product availability for customers.
• Support the online customer experience by assisting customers shopping on riflepaperco.com, answering product questions, and helping process online order returns and exchanges in store.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light cleaning of the sales floor and organizing the stockroom.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of business needs, and organizational objectives.
