Job summary

GrabAGun is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its on-site Coppell/Farmers Branch storefronts. You will handle firearm transactions, Form 4473 processing, NICS background checks, and daily inventory while delivering knowledgeable, compliant customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma, retail or customer service experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, with pay of $18–$21 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers visiting the storefront.
• Process firearm transactions and Form 4473 documentation.
• Verify eligibility and submit NICS background checks.
• Maintain daily Form 4473 counts, records, and compliance documentation.
• Follow firearm safety, handling, storage, and security procedures.
• Answer customer questions and provide knowledgeable product recommendations.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges through the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional storefront and sales counter.
• Manage and maintain local product orders.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain incoming inventory and shipments.
• Communicate professionally with customers both in person and over the phone.
• Stay current on applicable federal, state, and local firearms laws and company compliance policies.
• Support store management with administrative and operational responsibilities as needed.

The Retail Sales Associate will manage day-to-day storefront counter operations, including customer service, firearm transactions, Form 4473 processing, NICS background checks, POS transactions, and inventory support. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, knowledgeable about firearms, and comfortable working within strict compliance requirements.

What you'll do every day

• Genuine familiarity with and interest in firearms, ammunition, and shooting sports.

Bonus if you have

• Previous experience working in a firearms retail environment or FFL setting.

• Familiarity with the NICS Instant Background Check System.

• Working knowledge of firearms, ammunition, and shooting accessories.

• Experience with POS or inventory management systems.

• Existing knowledge of federal, state, and local firearms regulations.

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
