Job summary

Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation is seeking a Sales Associate to help customers throughout our Solana Beach store, answer questions, and keep the sales floor organized.

You will deliver friendly service, assist with product recommendations, handle inquiries by phone or in person, and support stockroom operations while maintaining a fast-paced environment. A basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus, and flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic organizational and math skills
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus

Role Overview

Sales Associates play a key role in deliveringan exceptionalshopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities include assisting customers throughout the store, answering questions, and ensuring a well-organized sales floor and stockroom.

• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Recommend products and suggest add-on sales
• Checking and retrieving merchandise from stockroom as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor
• Performs or may performadditionalduties as assigned by management and supervision
