Job summary

Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation in Atascadero, CA is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to help customers find the right gear, answer questions, and keep the sales floor and stockroom organized.

You will greet shoppers, process transactions, upsell when appropriate, and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment, while collaborating with a supportive team and enjoying employee discounts. Strong communication, reliability, and basic math skills are important.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus

Role Overview
