Job summary

Sun Tan City in Minnesota is seeking team members for its busy tanning salons. You will provide excellent customer service, engage with clients, and make recommendations for tanning products and services.

The role emphasizes meeting client needs, maintaining sales standards, and working well in a fast-paced team setting with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients’ needs are met in a friendly, professional manner.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge are required for daily tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, upbeat salon environment and multitask effectively.
• Engage with clients, make product/service recommendations, and maintain performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all clients’ needs are met and treated professionally.
• Engage with clients by building relationships and understanding their needs as a client.
• Make recommendations for products and services.
• Maintain minimum sales requirements.
• Multi-task by cleaning beds between clients and engaging new clients on arrival.
• Assist with salon cleanliness and upkeep of tanning rooms, lobby, restrooms, laundry and storage areas.
• Work cohesively with a team while upholding company policies and procedures.

Pay

Earn up to $15.50/hr. Base Pay - $12.00/hr or more + performance bonuses (average $15.50/hr). While $15.50 an hour is not guaranteed, it reflects the average earnings of team members who meet all performance and training criteria. We reward strong performance and reliability with regular bonus opportunities!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
• Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
• Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
