Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a high-energy team member to assist clients with tanning services and product recommendations. You will be rewarded for performance with bonuses and opportunities for growth in a positive, fast-paced environment.

Base pay starts at $12.00/hr with additional bonuses that can raise earnings; average earnings around $15.50/hr. This role offers flexible scheduling and advancement possibilities within a family of brands.

Pay

Earn up to $15.50/hr. Base Pay - $12.00/hr or more + performance bonuses (average $15.50/hr). While $15.50 an hour is not guaranteed, it reflects the average earnings of team members who meet all performance and training criteria. We reward strong performance and reliability with regular bonus opportunities!

Responsibilities

• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all clients’ needs are met and are treated professionally.
• Engage with all clients by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs as a client.
• Make recommendations for products and services.
• Maintain minimum sales requirements.
• Multi‑task such as cleaning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients upon their arrival.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of salon tanning rooms, lobby area, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
• Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast‑paced salon environment while upholding all company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
• Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
• Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
