Job summary

Big 5 Sporting Goods in North Highlands, CA is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to help customers, keep shelves stocked, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

You will assist shoppers, answer questions, process transactions, and support merchandise transfers from stockroom; prior retail experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus.
• Upon accepting a position offered, candidate will be subject to E-Verify.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Role Overview

Sales Associates play a key role in deliveringan exceptionalshopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities include assisting customers throughout the store, answering questions, and ensuring a well-organized sales floor and stockroom.
