AutoZone's Part-Time Retail Sales Associates drive sales through superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a WOW! Customer Service experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, performing daily duties, and complying with company procedures, embodying AutoZone's Living the Pledge.

Position Responsibilities

1. Provide WOW! Customer Service
2. Complete assigned store tasks promptly
3. Operate cash registers following cash handling procedures
4. Follow company policies and loss prevention procedures
5. Maintain a safe work environment, including PPE
6. Keep store appearance and merchandising standards
7. Restock and organize merchandise
8. Use ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or alternatives
9. Maintain product knowledge and current promotions
10. Practice GOTTChA and assist with installing wipers, batteries, and light bulbs
11. Use OBDII to read vehicle codes
12. Diagnose automobile issues and suggest solutions
13. Communicate with managers about customer and employee concerns
14. Develop effective customer service skills
15. Provide honest advice on products fitting customer needs

Position Requirements

1. Applicants must be 18+ years old with a High School diploma or equivalent
2. Basic automotive parts knowledge required
3. Excellent communication and decision-making skills
4. Ability to lift and deliver merchandise
5. Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends
