Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to transform store guests into loyal customers. You’ll be the in-store expert on home furnishings, creating inspiration and excitement as you help guests discover styles for their lives and design rooms they will love to live in.

You will deliver world-class service, process sales with accuracy, assist with financing as needed, and maintain the brand’s welcoming presence at the front desk.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodations.
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred.
• Outgoing, friendly, and easy to talk to; able to motivate action.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service at the front desk; engage with guests and represent the Ashley brand.
• Process sales orders accurately; assist with credit applications and financing; document transactions.
• Address customer concerns independently when possible.
• Assist with store opening/closing, cash reconciliation, and daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention; participate in semi-annual counts.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and KPI targets.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
