Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to provide friendly, fast, accurate, and safe customer service while supporting daily store operations in Naples, FL. The role includes processing transactions, accepting donations, and merchandising, with cross-training across the store.

The position is full-time, hourly, and offers benefits such as health insurance, a 403(b), PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cash registers, adding machines, credit card machines, telephones, and merchandise pricing.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers and maintain efficient checkout operations.
• Operate the cash register, process sales, accept payments, and bag merchandise.
• Ask customers to Round Up their purchases and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Accept donations, provide receipts, and assist donors professionally.
• Merchandise counters and displays and maintain safe aisles and walking surfaces.
• Meet production goals by processing merchandise and recording production.
• Follow Kaizen drills and keep workstations clean and organized.
• Sort and move merchandise according to color, category, and pricing guidelines.
• Sort recyclables and salvage into designated containers to aid post-sale opportunities.
• Support store operations including donation processing, merchandising, cleaning, and backroom functions.
