CARMEL ACE HARDWARE INC in Carmel, IN is seeking a customer-focused teammate to help neighbors with their projects. Ask what they're working on and walk them to what they need instead of pointing to an aisle. You'll help across hardware, paint, lawn and garden and the rest of the store, and take your turn at the Helpful Hub. Between customers, stock shelves and keep the floor ready.Who this work suitsYou don't need to know every product on day one. You do need to like helping people work through a project and be willing to say \"let's find out\" when you don't know. Hardware knowledge helps; curiosity and follow-through matter more. If you'd rather spend less of your day with customers, ask us about our support roles.Time off that grows with you. One week of paid vacation after 60 days, two weeks at three years, three weeks at five. Spring is our busiest season, so vacations aren't scheduled April 10 to June 15.Paid sick time. 40 hours a year once you've been with us 60 days.Paid holidays.
