Job summary

White's Ace Hardware and Garden Center in Geist/Indianapolis is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, understand their needs, and help them complete projects.

You will assist across hardware, paint, lawn and garden, and take turns at the Helpful Hub; no full product knowledge required at start. We offer paid time off, sick time, holidays, employee discount, annual raises, team bonus, SIMPLE IRA, and benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in helping customers with projects is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work across hardware, paint, lawn and garden sections.

Ask what they're working on and walk them to what they need instead of pointing to an aisle. You'll help across hardware, paint, lawn and garden and the rest of the store, and take your turn at the Helpful Hub. Between customers, stock shelves and keep the floor ready.# Who this work suitsYou don't need to know every product on day one. You do need to like helping people work through a project and be willing to say \"let's find out\" when you don't know. Hardware knowledge helps; curiosity and follow-through matter more.
