Job summary

The Children\'s Place in Loveland, CO is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, use product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques while ensuring merchandise presentation and cleanliness.

You will handle stock and backroom organization, assist customers with promotions, and work with the PLACE Card program. Must be 18+, may require flexible scheduling including weekends or evenings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise while sharing current promotions and offer solutions for out of stock items when necessary.
• Exercise sound judgment in effectively addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Maintain a neat, clean stockroom and a customer ready environment with safety in mind.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard.
• Guard company assets by adhering to Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform Store Leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Contribute toward achievement of store goals.
• Exhibit flexibility by processing stock when necessary.
