Job summary

The Children's Place in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will provide excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and employ effective selling techniques to drive sales.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining merchandise presentation, stock levels, backroom organization, and adherence to loss prevention standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Explain value and promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to improve conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly cashwrap service and educate about PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow standards for merchandise presentation and display.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized and maintain customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard.
• Protect assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform leadership of maintenance needs to keep store clean and safe.
• Contribute to store goals with focused efforts.
• Be flexible with stock processing as needed.
