Job summary

Go! Retail Group is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to support store operations, assist customers, and process purchases. The role focuses on greeting customers, applying sales steps, promoting promotions, using the POS, and leveraging in-store services.

No prior retail experience is required, but 3 months of retail exposure is a plus. A friendly demeanor and reliable team player will thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• No retail experience is necessary, however at least 3 months of retail experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a Friendly, professional demeanor
• Enthusiasm about being an impactful and innovative leader
• Self-motivated, passionate about the work you put out, lead with optimism and a solution-oriented mindset
• High integrity, accountability, reliability, and responsible individual who is open to feedback
• Create an exciting shopping experience by staying connected with the customer needs
• Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention is a plus
• Basic computer skills, POS system and Microsoft office
• Able to perform basic math functions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer when they walk through the entry
• Execute Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity
• Offer current promotions and special offers
• Operate the Point of Sale system accurately
• Provide comprehensive service by utilizing calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store special orders
• Maintain a store environment that meets visual merchandising standards, engages your consumer, and stimulates them to buy
• Receive and place new shipments
• Reset features and promotions as directed
• Complete regular housekeeping tasks
