The Children’s Place in Syracuse, NY is looking for a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will provide excellent customer service, apply product knowledge, and use effective selling techniques to meet store targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 18+ years of age. Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some overnights is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing assisting customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Communicate value and quality of merchandise and share promotions; offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversions.
• Assist at the cashwrap, educate customers on The PLACE Card, and process transactions.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes/styles are represented.
