Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a frontline retail associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock and present merchandise, and assist with checkout operations. You will follow established processes to stock, display, and maintain plan-o-grams while ensuring accuracy in pricing and sales transactions.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, processing deliveries, helping customers locate items, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise, collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
