Job summary

The Children's Place in Calexico, CA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals while delivering excellent customer service. You will maintain product knowledge, merchandising standards, and stock accuracy while assisting customers and processing transactions at the cashwrap.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, and retail experience preferred. The role requires weekend/evening shifts and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise while sharing promotions.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style representation.
• Follow merchandise presentation, signage, and display standards.
• Keep stockroom neat and safe; participate in housekeeping duties.
• Report maintenance and facility needs to Store Leadership.
