Job summary

Daiso USA is hiring a Store Sales Associate in Plano, TX to deliver exceptional customer service and help shoppers find the right products. You will greet customers, answer questions, identify needs, and recommend solutions while maintaining a clean, organized store and accurate transactions.

In this role you may support lead shifts, assist with opening/closing, and participate in inventory and merchandising tasks to ensure a welcoming shopping experience and successful sales performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate POS systems.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Prior retail or sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer questions about products, promotions, and discounts.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products or solutions.
• Upsell through appropriate product recommendations and promotions.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate when needed.
• Organize shelves, restock merchandise, and maintain displays.
• Maintain a clean and safe sales floor, checkout area, and back stock area.
• Assist with receiving, pricing, labeling, and replenishment of items.
• Process transactions accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
• Support lead shifts with task coordination, opening/closing, and leadership duties.
