Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a friendly Sales Associate for our Wellington, FL store. You’ll welcome customers, explain product features, and help families pick baby and children’s wear while delivering a warm, inclusive shopping experience.

You will handle POS transactions, restock shelves, and assist with omnichannel shopping to ensure a seamless experience. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and physical ability on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and engagement skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits
• Resolve issues for customers proactively in a busy retail environment
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel shopping as needed
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program to customers
• Minimize store loss by delivering excellent service and keeping a safe, clean store
