Job summary

Cash America Pawn in Jacksonville is hiring a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate. You will earn $16.00–$19.00 per hour plus unlimited commission. The role focuses on helping customers with sales and pawn services, handling cash, and maintaining a welcoming sales floor.

Hours typically run 9AM–6PM with Sundays often closed. Earned Wage Access after day 2, plus employee discounts from day one and aBenefits package including medical and other coverages.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as needed in a retail setting.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer-focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Commission Information
