Job summary

Ollie’s is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to assist customers and maintain the front end of the store. The role emphasizes friendly service, merchandising, and proactive engagement to drive sales in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet customers, operate the register, and stay informed about current promotions while supporting donation programs. The position requires a positive team player attitude and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Associate assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
