Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. in Garden City, KS is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to help customers and maintain store appearance, with a primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Greet and acknowledge every customer, operate the cash register accurately, stay informed on promotions to drive sales, and participate in receiving, pricing, merchandising, and restocking. This role requires a positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview

The Retail Sales Associate assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
