Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. in Nebraska is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to assist customers and maintain store appearance, focusing on front-end operations.

You will greet customers, operate the cash register, know current promotions, support donation programs, and contribute to a clean, well-merchandised store. A high school diploma is preferred and evening/weekend/holiday shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving deliveries, pricing, and merchandising.
• Maintain store appearance and complete additional assigned tasks.

Position Overview

The Retail Sales Associate assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
