Job summary

Downtown Ace Hardware in San Diego is seeking a part-time Sales Associate who embodies our core values and provides an amazing customer experience.

You will help shoppers, stay aware of promotions, process shipments, maintain a visually appealing showroom, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or currently in school).
• Sales experience is a plus.

• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and provide this information to customers.
• Execute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
• Continually work on increasing knowledge of the products we sell and their uses
• Merchandising skills and abilities.

• Maintaining a visually appealing Showroom
• Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back room areas clean and organized.

Education/Training:

High School diploma or GED equivalent or currently in school.

Experience:

Sales Experience a plus

Skills/Knowledge:

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Rate of Pay:

$17.75-$18.45/hr depending on experience
